fundraising events

Linda and Tracey will be attending the Scots woman of the year awards on 23/10/06 as Linda is a finalist. The ceremony takes place at the City Chambers in Glasgow. The event is run by The Evening Times and in conjunction with Matalan.

Our annual darts tournament, the Lindsay Armstrong Memorial, will take place on 19/11/06 at the New Cumnock Homing Club. This is a fundraiser that we run ourselves. Names will be taken at 12.30p.m. for a 1.00p.m. start. Winners and runners-up are awarded with a trophy and a cash prize, which has still to be sorted out. The winners also receive a shield that they return at the end of the year.

Everyone welcome, bring the kids and make it a family day out. Hot food will also be provided at a small charge

Our annual tea bingo will take place on 06/12/06 at the New Cumnock Working Mens Club at 7.00p.m. This is also a fundraiser that we have successfully run for the past three years. A 50p entry charge will be taken at the door. This is to cover part of the cost of the tea. There will also be raffles being sold which will be drawn at the end of the bingo. Please bring along your own cup.
